SURPRISE OF
DEATH
People
die every day, and the news of death has different effects on people depending
on how close or dear the deceased had been.
The
very thought of death freaks people out and they do not wish to talk about it
or even think about it. It is like the very thought of it makes its visitation
more imminent.
However,
the truth is that it is an EXPECTED end to every living being. And going by its
trend, it may visit at any moment and like a thief, it takes life away.
Why
does death set emotions loose at its wake?
Why
is it so devastating?
Why
does it leave us surprised?
Why
is there no technology to bring back life?
This
goes to show how unprepared the human nature is for death even though it is an
EXPECTED phenomenon. It leaves behind memories, wishes and longings.
Live
life while you still have it, it is not yours for keeps. Discover a good use
for it, and positively affect people who you still have around. When they are
gone, you cannot affect them anymore; not by befitting funerals, not by nicely
composed eulogies, not by expensive memorials…
They are gone, and you should prepare to meet yours!
